There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Dolphins never got to the one that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
They banked enough surplus on Hadden to cover a lot of smaller sins. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 21 they get a blindside protector. A clean fit for the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Xavier Worthy at No. 55 squarely in line with his ranking. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Jaheim Bell in the 158th pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The roster fit checks out.
Value with a capital V on Kamal Hadden in the 184th overall pick, a genuine coup. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
A straight-up fair deal on Curtis Jacobs at Round 6, Pick 23, value and slot in agreement. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They let Tylan Grable come to them and pounced at slot 241. A need, and now a little less of one.
