You build a draft on nights like this. Keon Sabb had no business being available in the 151st overall pick, and the Dolphins did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They will need Horn Jr. to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
Job largely done: quarterback settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

In slot 13 they get a plug-and-play piece up front. A clean fit for the roster.
Circle this one: Carson Beck at the 45th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Ollie Gordon II slipping to pick 98 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Fernando Carmona in Round 3, Pick 35 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It fills a real need, too.

They did well to land Logan Parr in pick No. 227, just ahead of his grade. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A quiet steal in Round 7, Pick 18: De'Corian Clark for less than the market said. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They paid a round early for Jimmy Horn Jr. in the Round 7 slot, more than the board wanted. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
