Thirty-one other rooms let Bhayshul Tuten slide, and the Dolphins were the ones holding the card at the 251st pick. Highway robbery. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
Every board in the league had Sanders lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 14 they get a building block for the line, though they paid up to get him. A real need, handled.
Tyler Booker in the 57th pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
They will replay Deone Walker at slot 89 for years; that is how good the value is. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Logan Jones this early at No. 98. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Value said wait; Chris Paul Jr. in pick 99 says they were not listening. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.

Fair-plus on Cody Lindenberg, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. The roster fit checks out.
They reached into another round for Thor Griffith, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They jumped the gun on Luke Lachey, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
