Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Dolphins, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Corum has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 21 they get an anchor for the offensive line at fair value. A real need, handled.
In the 28th pick they get an anchor for the defensive front, reach and all. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Blake Corum. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Edefuan Ulofoshio in pick 158 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A need, and now a little less of one.
Isaiah Williams at slot 186 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
The board had cheaper options than Darius Muasau at No. 199, and it noticed. The roster fit checks out.
A clean, defensible pick in Round 7, Pick 22 with a little surplus value in Demani Richardson. It adds depth where they could use a little.
