The Eagles spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jared Wiley, the No. 205 name on the board, in the 243rd pick.
Every board in the league had Washington lower, and that gap is the story. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 22nd overall pick they get a potential shutdown corner. Exactly the need they had to hit.
No drama and no debate, Brandon Dorlus went about where he belonged in the 50th pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They took Kingsley Suamataia at par in Round 2, Pick 22, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
