You could see the war room lean forward. Khyree Jackson at slot 122 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. The back end got a real overhaul.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 22 they get a ballhawk on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They will replay Graham Barton at pick 50 for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Xavier Worthy at slot 75 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Steal is underselling it; Khyree Jackson at the 122nd overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A straight-up fair deal on Isaac Guerendo at No. 127, value and slot in agreement. The roster fit checks out.
