The Patriots bet big and early on Ozzy Trapilo, 49 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.

Mondon Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They will answer for taking linebacker early while interior defensive lineman and quarterback went begging.
