They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Giants' quarterback, full stop. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Gould. Every board in the league had Cohen lower, and that gap is the story.
The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.

No drama and no debate, Jayden Daniels went about where he belonged in the 6th overall pick. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
They paid sticker price for Mike Sainristil in the Round 2 slot, and that is fine. The roster fit checks out.
They went early on Blake Corum in the 70th pick, and the value did not follow. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Kamren Kinchens in Round 4, Pick 7. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Jarrian Jones in No. 137. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A wide receiver of that caliber at pick 166 is the definition of value, full stop. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
The board had cheaper options than Javion Cohen at slot 183, and it noticed. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
