When a board-topper like Omarion Hampton slides to pick No. 44, you do not overthink it, and the Cowboys did not. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
