The Packers clearly saw something nobody else did in Dametrious Crownover, taking him 26 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
