The Packers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jacob Cowing, the No. 178 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 17. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Lindberg has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Packers indulged a want in Smith while a need in quarterback and tight end stayed open.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
