After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Browns committed. Ty Simpson is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Anderson. Every board in the league had Tollison lower, and that gap is the story.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
