The Vikings' one glaring miss is quarterback, a need they left exactly as they found it.
The Love pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Every board in the league had Bissainthe lower, and that gap is the story.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 18 they get a bell-cow for the offense at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
They let Anthony Hill Jr. come to them and pounced at the 49th pick. It adds depth where they could use a little.
No drama and no debate, Daylen Everette went about where he belonged in the 82nd overall pick. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Sam Hecht at pick 97 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Reggie Virgil at Round 5, Pick 23 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A tidy bit of business in the Round 6 slot, where Dae'Quan Wright graded well above the range. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Jalen Huskey in pick No. 234 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A slide stopped in slot 235, with Andre Fuller worth more than the price. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
They jumped the gun on Wesley Bissainthe, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
