The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Nicholas Singleton, the No. 99 name on the board, sitting there at the 209th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Bottom line, with Luther Burden III leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
