Jacksonville Jaguars
A solid, sensible weekend for the Jaguars: B.

The Jaguars bet big and early on Wesley Williams, 67 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
Hecht falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
Kayden McDonald slid further than he should have, and No. 33 is lovely value for the interior defensive lineman. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Caleb Tiernan at pick 81 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Josiah Trotter in the Round 3 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It fills a real need, too.
You do not let an offensive lineman like Sam Hecht reach the 124th pick and blink. They did not. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
CJ Daniels at Round 5, Pick 24 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
A running back of that caliber at the 166th overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Taking Anez Cooper in the 203rd pick is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A top-tier tight end at a bargain, Dallen Bentley in the 233rd overall pick, plain and simple. A need, and now a little less of one.
The board fumbled Thaddeus Dixon all the way to No. 240, and they scooped it up. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Wesley Williams at Round 7, Pick 29 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A minor itch, scratched.
