Thirty-one other rooms let Malachi Fields slide, and the Giants were the ones holding the card at slot 114. Highway robbery. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
