The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cardinals watched Smael Mondon Jr. slide 52 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
The Gabriel pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Cameron Williams at slot 16 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Matthew Golden in No. 47 lands just on the right side of the ledger. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
