No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Cowboys.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Cowboys took Brenden Rice at Round 3, Pick 25, roughly 33 spots before his name belonged. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a cornerstone up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Zach Frazier at Round 2, Pick 24 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
MarShawn Lloyd in pick 87 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A need, and now a little less of one.
A real head-scratcher, Brenden Rice in slot 88 is miles ahead of his ranking. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing McKinnley Jackson in the 174th pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
