The Commanders spent the pick that matters most on Caleb Williams, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
They banked enough surplus on Magee to cover a lot of smaller sins. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
