Start where it matters. The Commanders took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Smith-Wade.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
