The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Jermari Harris, No. 143, roughly 53 picks past where he belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
Nash has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 4 they get a ballhawk on the outside. Need was not the driver here.
Emeka Egbuka is a better player than the 38th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Tyler Booker at pick No. 69 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Jihaad Campbell at Round 3, Pick 13 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Somehow Andrew Mukuba was still sitting there in No. 105, and they pounced on premier safety value. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Jermari Harris in slot 143 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
They reached into another round for Nick Nash, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Jared Wilson at the Round 7 slot is money in the bank, a offensive lineman taken below his worth. It fills a real need, too.
A premium they did not need to pay, Garrett Dellinger a notch or two before his time. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
