Every other box got a look, but interior defensive lineman did not. The Eagles will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with.
Landing McMillan that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 9 of the wish list covered.
The back end got a real overhaul.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 22nd pick they get a sticky cover corner. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Good price on Calen Bullock in slot 50, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Graham Barton in the Round 2 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. It fills a real need, too.
Jalen McMillan slid further than he should have, and Round 3, Pick 34 is lovely value for the wide receiver. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Justin Eboigbe at pick 137. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Nothing to complain about; Edefuan Ulofoshio went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A minor itch, scratched.
Chau Smith-Wade in No. 172 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A quiet steal in pick No. 178: Layden Robinson for less than the market said. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
No edge and no loss on Mark Perry in the Round 7 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
