Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Eagles spent pick 160 on Jasheen Davis, a name most had 157 spots down the list.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Henderson. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.
They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Pick-by-Pick
In the 31st overall pick they get a coverage-and-run second-level piece, and a steal at that. More want than need.
A real head-scratcher, Dayon Hayes in the Round 4 slot is miles ahead of his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
They talked themselves into Phillip Webb at slot 152, and the board did not agree. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They barely believed it either: TreVeyon Henderson still on the board at the 159th pick. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Jasheen Davis in No. 160, miles early. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
You do not let a running back like Quinshon Judkins reach Round 5, Pick 27 and blink. They did not. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Devin Neal at No. 166 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
