The Eagles put a flag in the ground for Richard Jibunor, 64 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.
The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The McKinstry value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 25 they get a potential shutdown corner at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Ja'Lynn Polk in pick No. 50 is fair value, right on his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A tidy little value on Calen Bullock in pick 57, a step better than break-even. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They liked Cooper Beebe enough to skip the value, taking him in the 97th pick. A need, and now a little less of one.
Javon Foster in No. 137 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. The roster fit checks out.
