Nobody else had Jaylen Harrell anywhere near pick No. 168. The Eagles did, by 33 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Eichenberg is a bad player; it is that the Eagles had louder needs to answer first.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
