The tape said wait; the Eagles did not. Cody Schrader went at the 172nd pick, a good 40 picks before the board was ready. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. However the rest shakes out, Mahogany at that price is a win they earned.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
