B
Philadelphia Eagles
More right than wrong for the Eagles, and a B to prove it.

2024 NFL Draft
· 9 picks
· 1 steals
· 1 reaches
The Eagles' one glaring miss is edge rusher, a need they left exactly as they found it. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
The Simpson pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The cost of the Barrett reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 22nd overall pick they get an island corner. Exactly the need they had to hit.
By-the-book stuff, Jackson Powers-Johnson at pick 50 squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Calen Bullock in No. 54 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The roster fit checks out.
Fair-plus on Bucky Irving, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They took Malik Mustapha at par in the 137th pick, which is nothing to complain about. A need, and now a little less of one.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Jaylin Simpson in pick No. 163. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A premium they did not need to pay, Michael Barrett a notch or two before his time. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A tidy little value on Jaylan Ford in slot 178, a step better than break-even. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Aaron Frost in Round 7, Pick 23 is fair value, right on his grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
