Thirty-one other rooms let Kenyon Sadiq slide, and the Eagles were the ones holding the card at the Round 2 slot. Highway robbery. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 23 they get a press-man option on the boundary, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
You do not let a tight end like Kenyon Sadiq reach the 54th overall pick and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Circle this one: Dillon Thieneman at No. 68 is a fall that decides a draft. It fills a real need, too.
