Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Eagles, and the value they bled adds up to real damage. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.
They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The cost of the McClellan reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.

In slot 15 they get a double-digit-sack hope. Exactly the need they had to hit.
In the Round 1 slot they get a home-run threat at receiver at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at No. 53 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
