If Cooper pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Landing Coleman that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

A wild overpay on Edgerrin Cooper in the Round 1 slot, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Nice patience on Keon Coleman, who had no business lasting to the 50th pick. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
By-the-book stuff, Javon Bullard at Round 2, Pick 21 squarely in line with his ranking. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
