Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles let Henderson fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

Call it larceny. TreVeyon Henderson sat on the board until the 132nd pick, and the Eagles did not need to be asked twice. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Adding Travon Walker by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.15 · Pick 15 · Mason Graham · DT · rank 6
Mason Graham slipping to the 15th pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R4.2 · Pick 103 · Andrew Mukuba · S · rank 70
They will replay Andrew Mukuba at the Round 4 slot for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
R4.4 · Pick 105 · Barrett Carter · LB · rank 80
They barely believed it either: Barrett Carter still on the board at pick 105. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
R4.31 · Pick 132 · TreVeyon Henderson · RB · rank 60
TreVeyon Henderson at No. 132 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R5.23 · Pick 160 · Joshua Gray · OG · rank 164
They paid sticker price for Joshua Gray in slot 160, and that is fine. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
R5.28 · Pick 165 · Dorian Strong · CB · rank 159
Dorian Strong at the 165th overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
