The rest of the league had time to spare on Adam Randall; the Titans did not wait, grabbing him 86 spots ahead at No. 194. Put together, it is a D.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Virgil value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 4 they get a workhorse for the backfield at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
In the Round 1 slot they get a security blanket over the middle, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.
They read the board right and Jacob Rodriguez was the payoff at the 66th pick. A need, and now a little less of one.
A wild overpay on Domani Jackson in Round 5, Pick 2, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Nadame Tucker. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Zxavian Harris at slot 168 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Reggie Virgil in the Round 6 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It fills a real need, too.
Adam Randall at pick No. 194 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Connor Tollison in No. 255 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
