The Xavier Thomas selection is the head-turner. The Chiefs reached 30 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Pritchett pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
