Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Chiefs never addressed wide receiver, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
The McCoy pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Job largely done: running back settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
