You can hear the double-takes from here. The Cowboys took Xavier Thomas at Round 6, Pick 37, roughly 34 spots before his name belonged.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him.

The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
