You could see the war room lean forward. Kenyon Sadiq at No. 172 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 8 they get a bell-cow for the offense. A real need, handled.
David Bailey at the Round 2 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They robbed the room for Sonny Styles here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A minor itch, scratched.
They barely believed it either: Mansoor Delane still on the board at the 111th pick. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Carnell Tate in the 133rd overall pick, plain and simple. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Kenyon Sadiq in No. 172 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
