The Emery Jones Jr. selection is the head-turner. The Patriots reached 76 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Judkins. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will answer for taking linebacker early while edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
