The pick that carries the class is Barion Brown, a wide receiver the Chiefs were happy to stop sliding in the 168th pick. Patience, rewarded. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

In the Round 1 slot they get a ballhawk on the outside, outstanding value to boot. More want than need.
Nothing to complain about; Jonah Savaiinaea went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Colston Loveland in the 66th pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Dani Dennis-Sutton in slot 96. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
