Nice patience on Kayden McDonald, who had no business lasting to slot 27. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
In Round 1, Pick 29 they get the heartbeat of the defense, outstanding value to boot.
Chris Brazzell II at the 40th overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Gennings Dunker at the 58th pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
No drama and no debate, Treydan Stukes went about where he belonged in No. 74. It adds depth where they could use a little.
They went early on Trey Zuhn III in the Round 4 slot, and the value did not follow. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Malik Muhammad at pick No. 148 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It is more luxury than necessity; they were already set here.
