Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jordyn Tyson got past him. The Bears do not have to explain a thing at Round 7, Pick 4. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
