Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Packers were there to profit. Renardo Green, the No. 153 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 203. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Powers-Johnson left real value on the table behind him. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
