The Browns put a flag in the ground for Roydell Williams, 274 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Call it a C- and check back in two years.
Getting Styles where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Everything downstream of Carson Beck depends on Carson Beck, and the building knows it. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

So much rides on Carson Beck that the real verdict is a season or two away.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 6 they get the arm they will build around, a steep price for the projection. Exactly the need they had to hit.
In pick No. 24 they get a weapon on the perimeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Value said wait; Caleb Tiernan in the Round 2 slot says they were not listening. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
