There is reaching, and then there is Matthew Jones at the Round 6 slot. The Cowboys jumped the board by 41 and dared it to prove them wrong. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Mustapha. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
