Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Giants never addressed interior defensive lineman, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
The Barner reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
By-the-book stuff, Malik Nabers at the Round 1 slot squarely in line with his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
No edge and no loss on Kalen King in the 39th pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
