Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Dolphins spent pick No. 239 on Solomon Byrd, a name the board had a full 34 spots lower.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Pritchett pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
