Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Cardinals to leave a draft.
Getting Conerly Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

In the 16th overall pick they get a disruptive interior force. A real need, handled.
Josh Conerly Jr. slipping to the 47th pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
