You could see the war room lean forward. Bralen Trice at the 88th overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will need Green to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
