You can hear the double-takes from here. The Patriots took DJ Giddens at the 103rd pick, roughly 33 spots before his name belonged. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. The Kight value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
