The rest of the league had time to spare on Cobee Bryant; the Texans did not wait, grabbing him 55 spots ahead at the Round 4 slot.

Giddens falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

The Texans indulged a want in Moore while a need in quarterback stayed open. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
