The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Xavier Legette, Round 4, Pick 4, roughly 30 picks past where he belonged. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
The Josh Jacobs deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Xavier Legette at No. 104 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A cornerback of that caliber at the 106th overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They will replay James Williams at pick No. 139 for years; that is how good the value is. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
They read the board right and Anthony Gould was the payoff at Round 6, Pick 8. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing JD Bertrand in slot 223. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Circle this one: KT Leveston at the Round 7 slot is a fall that decides a draft. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
